Vivian Richard, the well known West Indian cricketer, and the most destructive batsman in the world class cricket.Probably the best cricketer in the world. The way he hits each and every ball with full power and most important thing with not to loose his valuable wicket intent is simply great habit i have seen.Sir Viv Richards was born on March 7, 1952 in St.John's Antigua.Richards began his Test (international) match career for the West Indies team at age 22 in 1974. In the course of a career that encompassed 121 Test matches and lasted until 1993, he distinguished himself as one of the most feared and productive batsmen of all time. Though he did so in an era when some of the game’s most dominant fast bowlers thrived, he defiantly and famously refused to wear a batting helmet. In the process of scoring 8,540 runs and averaging more than 50 runs per innings in Test competition, Richards recorded 24 centuries (100 runs in a single innings), leading the West Indian team that he captained from 1985 to 1991 to sweeping international success. Richards was also an “off-spin” bowler and took 32 wickets in Test competition. Knighted for his contributions to cricket, today Richards is an occasional cricket commentator and team mentor. He was also mentor in IPL6 for Delhi Daredevils Team.I remember him saying never fear for the ball on the ground, even if you have fear pretend you are more courageous than the opposition and overcome the race and beat the opposition.

Richards refused a "blank-cheque" offer to play for a rebel West Indies squad in South Africa during the 1983, and again in 1984.Richards is frequently heard on BBC's Test Match Special (TMS).Richards was featured in the 2010 documentary movie Fire in Babylon and spoke about his experiences playing for the West Indies and so on, it goes.
